Henry Haylock Taylor (1871 - 1919)

Private (9585) in the 9th Battalion the Suffolk Regiment. He then transferred as a Sergeant (543109) to the Labour Corps. He died after the end of hostilities of the First World War, on 17 January 1919, after a short illness in the 1st Eastern General Hospital, Cambridge.
Henry is commemorated with his son, Henry William Taylor (1895‒1917), on the war memorial in the Cambridge Guildhall and on the war memorial at St Paul’s Church, Cambridge.
